ITOMAK (Pty) Ltd. was founded in 1993 by a group of specialists from Novosibirsk Science Centre for the purpose of developing a new generation of centrifugal concentrators for mining. The company is situated in Academic Town, a major scientific research centre of Siberia. It consists of highly qualified scientists, technologists, beneficiators, engineers and designers.
ITOMAK boasts its own sufficient production facilities and in some cases sub-contracts local companies, associated with military and space exploration programmes.
The company developed and patented its own unique designs and based on them manufactures centrifugal gravity concentrators and a range of magnetic and magnetic liquid separators for concentrate conditioning. It also provides various assistance in developing and modifying metals and minerals benificiation technologies for various conditions and types of feed material.

ITOMAK is constantly modifying its range of equipment, paying serious attention to the immediate demands of the mining industry, gold extraction companies in particular as well as to prospects of further development of the industry in Russia and other gold producing regions of the world.
ITOMAK experience constant growth in demand from gold extraction companies in various regions of Russia and abroad. Today this company is an absolute leader in developing and manufacturing of centrifugal concentrators in the country.
We cooperate actively with a number of gold and other metals extraction companies, receive from them valuable feed back. We also maintain good relations with our colleagues from machine building companies and major research centres of the country in the field of mining.
PRODUCTION
The bulk of our production constitutes proprietary and patented centrifugal concentrators. They boast high specific capacity and efficiency. The units are power efficient, compact and not heavy. Our concentrators may be installed in various compact areas including underground. Itomak concentrators are known for their high levels of separation of heavy metals and minerals into enriched concentrates, very impressive rates of extraction of fine, flat and floating gold. At the same time very high reduction is achieved, sometimes up to 10000 times resulting in a very small volume of the concentrate. The concentrates perform automated discharge of the concentrate (in 20 seconds) without virtually stopping the unit. Our concentrators are ecologically friendly, consuming no chemicals. Water and electricity are used only in the process. The units are manufactured according to highest quality standards. They are reliable in operation and can cope with emergency situations as well as use recirculated water. Itomaks are easy to operate and service.
The company provides warranty and post warranty service, supplies all necessary spare parts for reliable unit operation in most extreme conditions. The units are competitively priced and the delivery lead periods are reasonably short. When buying our units be sure that our specialists will commission them and will set the units to the most efficient mode based on the conditions and the particulars of your feed materials. Technical supervision is assured throughout the service life of the units. When buying Itomak units you attain a win-win situation in terms of price and extraction level thus providing your company with new viable development opportunities.
COMPANY’s MAJOR ACTIVITIES
MANUFACTURING
-
The company is engaged in developing, manufacturing, delivery and commissioning of centrifugal concentrators and conditioning compleces for efficient extraction capabilities of fine gold from various feed materials.
-
We also advise on the procurement of complimentary equipment for material preparation for centrifugal separation like screens, feeders, conveyers, water and slurry pumps, cyclones, sieves and similar equipment at competitive prices and from the direct suppliers.
SERVICES
-
Development and modification of gold extraction technologies based on the use of Itomak centrifugal concentrators. If required we may conduct a comprehensive technological research and provide a concept for designing, building or refurbishing your plants or other metal and mineral extracting facilities.
-
Increased extraction of gold from various feed materials. We may provide a set of equipment for initial benificiation and upgrading which include centrifugal concentrators and magnetic or magnetic-liquid separators. Available technology allows to exclude chemical completely from the process of benificiation.
- Recycling and remining of plants tailings and dumps. A considerable amount of metal is lost being too fine to be extracted through conventional means or being incrusted in sulfides. Sizeable amount of gold is lost after complex treatment of sluice concentrates on jigging machines and concentration tables. Itomak concentrators cope with this problem and extract additional gold, otherwise considered «lost».
- Assaying of samples and conducting tests on possibility of extraction of gold and platinum fine fraction using Itomaks. The mass of a representative sample should be between 10 and 50 kg.
- Conducting large scale trials of Itomaks in situ on clients’ request.
-
Development of remining schemes dealing with tailings and dumps for various types of plants.
Our Equipment is used: for extraction of fine free gold using gravity beneficiation of placers and ores; сatching free gold from circulating milled ore or float concentrates; treatment of tailings from placer gold extraction; extraction of gold from heavy concentrates; finding out gravity extractable gold during geological prospecting; extracting or separation of various products which have a higher SG compared to the gangue.
Our practical experience of operating Itomak concentrators in Russia and overseas proves the fact that even grades of 0,3 g/t in the feed material may bring about dozens of kilograms of extracted gold in a viable manner.
