WEIGHTING TECHNOLOGIES

META® can be called an innovation enterprise due to its achievements in the sphere of weighting technologies. The company specialists have developed successful weight-metering techniques according to the individual projects. This fact is especially important: during the search of technological solutions the customer specifications are taken into account, and good solutions are found. Also META® offers weighting equipment of the world leading producers. It has a wide range (from submicrogramm up to 100000 kilogramm). It could be laboratory-, micro- or industrial-scales and auxiliary equipment. META® delivers equipment all over Russia and gives an overall support for the clients (consultations, training, warranty and after-warranty service).

DISPERSED AND POROUS MATERIALS QUALITY CONTROL

On the basis of science developments of the Institute of Catalysis of the SB of RAS the company specialists have created a series of unique devices. The devices Sorbi^® measure the specific surface of dispersed and porous materials quickly, precisely, and with a high accuracy. It is measured by the calculation of inert gas volume that is sorbbed by the investigated material at the temperature of liquid nitrogen. 

Conducting experiments

Advantages of Sorbi®: automated measurement; visual imaging of the adsorption-desorption dynamics on the screen; easy to handle, doesn’t demand a high-qualified staff. The «SorbiPrep»® station is constructed specially for Sorbi® devices.  It is intended for thermal training of the samples of dispersed and porous materials. It allows to prepare up to 90 samples per day for specific surface measurement by Sorbi® devices. The use of «SorbiPrep»® station improves measurement speed and results reliability.

INDUSTRIAL LOGISTICS

Industrial logistics is an ability to measure and control material flows very effectively. META^®  offers a new method of solving the problems of logistics by identification and control devices installation and usage of automated systems.

The examples of the devices, introduced by META^® at a number of metallurgical enterprises:

• Steel teeming ladle capsule
  The first in Russia autonomous measuring system on a moving object that could estimate the current weight of liquid steel with a container weight compensation. The data control and transfer are done on-line.
• Automated Registration System
  The system is used with crane scales KGW-model and intended for the weighting load data keeping and processing. In the database information processing and registration is done according to the customer demand.
• Weighting and Identification System on a Scrap transfercar
  It is developed for an automated weighting control of scrap metal and for movements registration of scrap transfercar buckets with RFID-signs. Moving and loading are automatically registered and being controlled at the level of a program component.
• Automated Production Registration and Marking System
  It is intended for production weighting and registration by bar-coding. The system could automatically receive, load, and calendar the production.
