The firm «Shavyrin» was founded in 1992.
Scientific, technical, and technological bases of the firm was conceived in the Siberian branch of Russian Academy of Science. At different periods there were from three to ten members.
It cooperates closely with the specialists of the scientific establishments of the SB of RAS. The orders are carried out on the production areas of the SB of RAS and factories in Novosibirsk.
In the time of the existence the firm has solved various problems, including those that concern power electronics, continuity of service module, measuring devices for the industrial production automation. Also it deals with ecological problems. Now the priority direction is development, prototypes creation, and short run production of devices, mainly analogous electronics.
Preference is given to the devices that are not common for an average consumer and have individual characteristics.
 For example, a controlled constant-current source.

Such device is used for Hg-lamp power supply to generate ultraviolet radiation.
Another example is a current source used to solve different problems that need stable, controlled current of a kiloampere diapason.
The block is a current generator with manual and outer adjustment, and its factual value indication. Blocks of the same type could be switched on simultaneously, at the same time the output current increases proportionally the number of blocks.
