The company «SKIT» was organized in 2002 on the basis of the developments of two laboratories of Construction and technology institute of computer engineering of the SB of RAS.
The main goal of the company is to develop technologies for solving various problems concerning automation of both industrial processes and scientific experiments.
The company designs and delivers ready-to-operate automated controlling systems of various technology processes. Such systems consist of software, developed by the company, and hardware both of own production and with the components of such firms as Octagon, Faswel, GrayHill, Advantech.

The measuring and controlling hardware is based on the usage of a modern element base, microprocessor technique, and telecommunication means.
Modular version of specialized equipment blocks makes it possible to configure compound automated controlling complexes on individual demands with less time.

Modules have high consumer characteristics:

little inaccuracy of analogue modules measurement (0.05% – 0.1%);
-
small energy consumption (0.3 watt per channel);
-
bounce suppression of discrete input modules;
-
reasonable price (two times less than foreign analogues);
-
channeling (8, 16 channels);
-
galvanic channel division that in some cases plays a determining role in system creation under conditions of electromagnetic interference.
Measuring modules have Russian State Standard certificates.

The software was developed for different platforms (Solaris, QNX, Windows). It provides for creation of a heterogeneous system of automation, taking into account the complexity, fault-tolerance, and the necessity of operating speed. The company cooperates closely with Construction and technology institute of computer engineering of the SB of RAS and the Institute of automation and electrometry of the SB of RAS.
The company production has passed the tests successfully and was introduced in ACS TP of a number of heating stations, and also in automation measuring systems of aerodynamic bench complexes of the Institute of theoretical and applied mechanics of the SB of the RAS.
