Nonprofit partnership of IT-companies «SibAcademSoft»

Rapidly developing high-tech industry in Novosibirsk region needs a developed infrastructure of IT-business. Exactly for this purpose in 2001 a nonprofit partnership «SibAcademSoft» was organized. It included six producers of software in Novosibirsk («Alekta», «Novosoft», «SibIT», «Softlab», «Unipro»), the Technopark «Novosibirsk», the SB of RAS, NSU, and Administration of Novosibirsk region.

The partnership is one of the biggest IT-associations in Russia. It is unique since it cooperates closely with regional authorities and the Academy when solving the problems of the development.

Main directions of «SibAcademSoft»:

• forming and strengthening  the image of Novosibirsk, Siberian region, and Russia as a centre of IT-industry;
• assisting the development of the companies-members and their advancement into Russian and world markets;
• purposeful changing of social, economical, and political spheres to develop Siberian IT-industry;
• training high-qualified staff for Siberian and Russian IT-companies;
• encouraging the development of scientific potential of Siberian region.

The mission of «SibAcademSoft» is to make Siberia one of the main grounds of rapid development of IT-production, infrastructure, and education in Russia and the world.

«SibAcademSoft» is the organizer of a biggest Siberian forum «Industry of informational systems» that should form the strategy of the development of Siberian center of native IT-sphere and the perspectives of its development up to the level of Euro-Asian IT-center.
