In 2010 the authorities of the Novosibirsk Region will develop Technopark 

The authorities of the Novosibirsk Region plan to actively develop Technopark of Academgorodok in Novosibirsk in 2010, told the Governor Viktor Tolokonsky on Thursday.

Technopark is a special environment with special potential for integration of science and innovation in manufacturing. We are ready to invest in its development up to 1 billion of budgetary funds a year. Since 2010, 13-15 of innovative companies will work in Technopark, "- said the head of the region. 

According to the final summary given by the regional administration 1.7 billion rubles from the budgets of all levels was invested in 2009 to provide lands of Technopark with utility plants and to build housing.

It was the Center of technological support in which the first 13-15 companies-residents will be located that became the first project of Technopark. The financial and industrial group LLC “SM Holding" will invest 500 million rubles in the equipment of the first building of Technopark.

"We build premises with the help of budgetary funds, and this company ("SM.Holding") buys the up-to-date equipment. Investments will amount to hundreds millions rubles. Everything in Technopark will be based on private investors", - said Tolokonsky.

According to him construction of another building of Technopark for software companies will start in 2010.

“A large building will be built on the money of private investors with our co-financing. It will be a center for software companies. Association of companies "SibAcademSoft" is the associated ordering party of the building", - said the Governor.

The authorities' plans include also constructing of the Center of nanostructured materials in Technopark. Budgetary funds amounted to 150 million rubles will be devoted for this purpose. The Group “SM.Holding” also will be a co-investor of the project.

According to the Governor, the number of companies-residents of the Novosibirsk Technopark will reach 200 by 2014.

Novosibirsk Technopark in the sphere of high technologies will consist of a zone of business incubator and innovation development, as well as the commercial zone. Residents of Technopark will be supported from the Federal and consolidated regional budgets. Core business in Technopark is planned to develop in four basic directions: biomedicine and biotechnologies, information technology, power electronics, instrument making.
